Kicking off 2026 with the English fan release of The Series of Haruhi Suzumiya
Happy New Year! I'm delighted to kick off the new year with some DS-related stuff! I'm happy to report that the complete fan translation patch of The Series of Haruhi Suzumiya is now available on the Haroohie Translation Club website.
Released in 2009 for the Nintendo DS, Suzumiya Haruhi no Chokuretsu (The Series of Haruhi Suzumiya) is a partially-voiced visual novel/puzzle game based on the Haruhi Suzumiya series. Featuring over 36,000 lines of dialogue and many possible routes, it's a charmingly interesting game befitting an interesting series. It's packed with puzzles, oddities and branching dialogue trees.
To use the patch, you'll need to dump an original game cartridge and apply the xdelta using the website tool. Access the patch at the website below:

Over the past four years, I've contributed graphics, editing, and a bit of web development / promo creation to this project with dozens of other Haruhi fans from around the world. Thank you to everyone who made this possible - and in particular Jonko, Millie, Ermii, Isi, Kahner, and the many testers and contributors.
